Delete your account

What is erased, when, and how to ask for it.

You sign in, then confirm with your password, and your code if you have turned on two-factor authentication. In the app, it is also: Settings, Account, “Deactivate your account”, at the very bottom.

What is erased

• Immediately, if you delete: the account, everything that was synced (journal, feelings, recipes, settings) and its sign-in history. The host keeps no backup copy of it, and its technical logs are erased within a few days.
• 30 days later, if you deactivate: the same, with time to change your mind — just sign back in.
• On your device, nothing is erased remotely: Settings, “Erase all my data”. Without an account, that is the only place where your data exists.

You can no longer access your account?

Write to contact@mymicrobiote.app with your username: the publisher deletes the account and confirms it to you. Your message is erased one year after the last exchange; the record of the request is kept for five years, so that the reply can be proven.
